Some may consider it morbid, but death has always fascinated me. I feel that it is a natural part of life, and that our modern American culture has sanitized and created a taboo around the subject. This work is created in part to show that there is beauty in all things, and in all phases of life.
These "dead things" are what remains here on Earth, abandoned by the spirits which once inhabited them. They lay where they fell, only to once again incorporate into the stuff from which they were created.

These are digital images. Final prints are type-C and printed using RA-4 chemistry.
