I discovered a small room in the Community Center which contained equipment for various forms of exercise. The people of Pripyat appear to have placed a great deal of importance on maintaining good health and were very active. I guess that in wintertime when it was too cold outside to enjoy a brisk walk, this exercise room would have sufficed.
